Robin Kelly, King Of Kings People's Choice

When we landed at the restaurant, we met some of his Canadian fans who made the trek to Nashville. They laughed as Robin recounted the series of events and said "what else is new?". Robin kept that good natured frame of mind as made his way to the stage to portray the 60's era. He sang the movie tunes, danced up a storm, felt at home with the crowd and loved every minute of it! The Collingwood Champion on hiatus from his current long running Casino job came all the way from Alberta, told the crowd he was excited just to be on the Nashville stage and that he hoped they would enjoy his performance! Well no sooner did he get those words out of his mouth, the people started yelling "welcome", giving him a warm round of applause and that got everyone pumped up to high gear! There was no stopping Robin's energy now and the audience joined in by dancing in the aisles and singing along with the songs! Nora, who was sitting among some fans in the audience, could only smile and say "that's Robin"!

However, more often than not, their travels are never anything short of exciting, especially when it comes to car rentals, the Nashville trip being no exception. It took three brand new rental cars, six hours of waiting time and umpteen phone calls, just to make it from the airport to the hotel because the cars all broke down! Then there's finding the way around to see the sights, looking for restaurants that were open late - well that one we all experienced together, I think we got in and out of the car five times, within two blocks - a comedy of errors that actually put Robin in a great mood for the show.
