Pete came down with members of his family. Pete's sister, Melissa, is also a singer LLM has presented to the Montreal stage. We knew she was a crowd pleaser back home and we were certain the audience in Nashville would love her, so up she came to sing a few Shania Twain songs during a break. Melissa without a doubt knocked 'em out! The trip to Nashville was truly a thrilling experience for the Paquette family who are all Elvis fans. They decided to fly in a few days before the show, rent a car, drive to Memphis, sight see, shop and fulfil their lifelong dream visit to Graceland. For Pete, taking home a brand new guitar was the icing on the "dream visit" cake!

No matter how much experience you have as an ETA , opening a show is bound to make you more nervous than you already are.

But for Pete, stepping on to the American stage for the first time in front of such a large audience, three hours away from his idol's stomping ground, one would have thought being nervous would thrown him for a loop - Not so! His energy and pitch perfect vocals had the audience cheering before he'd completed his first song. Of course winning a few major contests and performing the 50's era in a large E Birthday Bash in Canada within one year did give him a bit of confidence, but his authentic moves and incredible vocals is what caught the Nashville crowd's eye and got Pete a standing ovation by the time he walked off the stage!
