Garry was absolutely incredible - all weekend long! Every Elvis event where fans meet friends they haven't seen in a while is special. It gives us all a chance to catch up, share stories and the same goes for ETAs and those working in the entertainment industry. We couldn't wait to see Garry who was scheduled to come in early on the Friday morning. When he arrived at the hotel a few hours late, we asked him where he was and he said "lost at the airport waiting for the shuttle". Of course we killed ourselves laughing because the LLM crew had waited for the shuttle in the wrong place at the airport the day before! Over coffee, laughing about more of Garry's (& his beautiful wife Elaine who does an incredible Patsy Cline) adventures, he talked about how busy his schedule is and that after this Nashville show, he was taking his production "Legends Live" on tour. It's like he never stops! From South America to Canada and home in between and still going strong after more than 20 yrs & still a 1st class guy! Well this "1st class world Elvis entertainer" sure showed the crowd how he earned that reputation. He poured every ounce of his being into his entire set and got the audience totally involved. He joked with them making them laugh, moved them to tears when he sang the powerful ballads and had them standing up, cheering and screaming while he unleashed his ultra energetic moves across the stage he graced. It's not a wonder Garry is regarded as one of the best tribute artists in the world, his character and performance is an authentic representation of Elvis in the 70's both vocally and visually and the people sensed that and loved him for it!
