Just a few years back, not even three, this shy ETA from Texas who had been singing for just a few months came down to Montreal with fellow ETA Johnny Thompson and managed to cause a buzz in the air that said "look out for this one"! What a quiet kid he was. Donny moved to Las Vegas a year after that show and began to work on his act, perfecting the 50's era to the best of his ability. Always friendly and very sincere, Donny enjoyed talking with his peers as well as the fans, and was very keen on learning and sharing things he'd learned about. We chuckled to see him talking so much, what a change from 3 years ago, but what a sweet and caring person he is! He's really gotten himself a lot of experience working in Vegas, the Elvis Museum, the Casinos and he travels too, winning in many contests. That kind of exposure has afforded him the chance to sing on ABC's Monday Night Football Halftime Show. It's been uphill for Donny and he certainly didn't disappoint the crowd when he came to entertain in Nashville. With a fantastic authentic 50's Elvis look, he executed a very professional 50's set complete with gyrating moves, great vocals and lots of women taking advantage of the gleam of his eye as he looked their way. The raised eyebrow and sweet smile had the girls swooning and the entire crowd screaming and when it came time for the crowd to vote....Donny was their #1 of the 50's era!
