Ryan Pelton, Collingwood Elvis Festival, 2005
Well back again-sans heart from Collingwood. Yes Ryan Pelton took my heart again. This was my first time to Collingwood, I have to say they know how to put on an Elvis show. The lights ambiance just beautiful, Elvis Lives indeed in the heart of a hockey arena on the beautiful Georgian Bay. The afternoon show Ryan only had one song but he gave his heart and soul singing Where could I Go-I Am Saved, I swear almost Elvis incarnate, big shoes to fill but again Ryan had no problem. He also joined in the finale for ‘A Less Conversation’, let me tell you with Ryan Pelton and Gino Monopoli on the same stage there’s “a little less conversation” and a lot more than a “little more action”.
Elvis Lives in the evening the pleasure was all ours as Ryan performed 3 fabulous sets. The fifties set in the Gold Lame, truly Ryan’s trump card. He looks like he lives and breathes Elvis sliding across that stage, legs, shoulders, hips, all in perfect harmony and driving the ladies wild wanting more. A little Shake Rattle and Roll, Trouble, Mama Liked the Roses. Return to Sender and of course Teddy

Bear with every lady in the house screaming for one of his teddy bears. The first time I saw Ryan perform Peace in the Valley I was hooked and he seems to perform it even better every time I see him. A special treat for all when Ryan performed his If I can Dream, again there are no words for such a riveting performance. Ryan closed the show with his infamous black leather and I’ve already written scores about that, lets just say the ladies definitely got their money’s worth on that set. Ryan is dear and near to my heart I can never say enough about him, so though I may be repeating myself he’s well worth it.     Lola Saffioti-Ottawa, Ont.
Jeff Bodner, Collingwood Elvis Festival
My girlfriends and I came to Collingwood 2005 after hearing about it on the Lady Luck Music radio show. We have been Elvis fans all of our lives, go to Memphis every year, but finding out that this was the largest Elvis festival in the world, we couldn't resist seeing ETAs we'd never seen before. There were so many great performers, but we like to see the contestants and cheer them on. I really thought one in particular was really terrific, his name is Jeff Bodner and I couldn't take my eyes off of him and boy could he move! If I were a betting gal, I would have put my money on him to win! He had a strong voice too and we saw him singing at Casey's bar as well as the contest venues in and outdoors. He had such a great personality, he had us all laughing and what a charmer! We got to talking with Jeff and a few other ETAs and then to our surprise, when I asked him where he was from, he said BC and that he was an RCMP officer by day! Well we come from Vancouver and we felt like we knew him even better! You were fantastic Jeff, thanks for making our first trip to Collingwood a memorable one! Theresa Cole, Vancouver BC

Sean Sharp - Pageland Watermelon Festival - July 16, 2005
This year's Watermelon Festival featured a Tribute to Elvis Presley from 7 year old Sean Sharp. WOW! I was amazed to see a child of his age perform songs such as "Wear My Ring", "Treat Me Nice", "Jailhouse Rock" and a medley of "Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog and All Shook Up" plus many others. And talk about charisma; when he removed the purple scarf from his neck and asked "Who wants this?" he had an immediate crowd response. He later passed out another scarf and then specifically called two other ladies to the stage for kisses. What a heartbreaker this little guy is gonna be. In his white fringe suit with beads flying after each shake of the hips he left everyone wishing he had more time on stage. After he left the stage he visited with festival goers gathered around the stage to sign autographs and pass out photos. You can check his schedule at www.seansharp.4t.com to see if he will be in your area. If he is make sure you catch the show; you'll be glad you did.  Sandra Crowley , Pageland, SC

Ryan Pelton,  Legends In Concert - Myrtle Beach, SC - August 2005
I have seen Ryan perform many times here at Legends In Concert in Myrtle Beach, SC for a long time and I must say he is just a wonderful entertainer. He has the looks, style, charm, talent and so much more that Elvis had himself. He is one of the best I have ever seen. He starts his part of the show with the very famous BLACK LEATHER which drives the women to their feet. He starts off with the song "I'm Evil" which is one of my all time favorites as he slides across the stage while working the audience into a frenzy. He is very interactive with the crowd as he goes on to perform many different era's of Elvis. He throws out teddy bears to the crowd as he sings "Teddy Bear" and later gives out scarves to many lucky woman while singing " One Night With You" another of my many favorites. His performance of "Rubberneckin" is just awesome! He later comes out in one of his many popular Elvis jumpsuits and performs the later years of Elvis.  He rattles the stage with his many moves to "Polk Salad Annie" and ends his show with the American Trilogy with the flag dropping in the background. He sings that song with great emotion and feeling.  People are on their feet in awe at his performance the entire time.
He is the most kind and good hearted entertainer that I have ever met who cares a great deal for his fans. I have to say that I feel very honored that I have had the chance to see him perform many times. After the show he takes time to talk with anyone that would like to talk with him or get pictures with him. I hear many comments from people walking away from the show about how wonderful he was as an entertainer and as a person. There are many people who come to the show over and over just to see him perform once again. From the time people see him come on stage until the time he leaves they are just shocked at what the effect he has on them. With his great looks, excellent voice, and great moves Ryan Pelton gives fans ! the ultimate Elvis experience. His talent surpasses that of many as he takes on the persona of Elvis in all of his many performances. I must say to that Ryan is a perfect gentleman with alot of respect for his fans. I urge you to see Ryan any chance you get because you will walk away from his shows in awe at what a wonderful and talented entertainer he really is. GOOD LUCK to Ryan in all his endeavors!! I am sure he will keep moving forward. RYAN PELTON ROCKS!  Tammie Massey - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Jamie Aaron Kelley, The Elvis Story, Atlantic City,  recent show.
When I first heard that The Elvis Story was coming to Atlantic City I couldn't wait to see it, but when I heard that Martin Fontaine was being replaced in the show by Jamie Aaron Kelley, I must admit that I was a little disappointed only because the show had such rave reviews with Martin in it. In the past I heard a lot of wonderful things about Jamie Aaron Kelley and was curious to see if he was as good as I had heard. Let me tell you, not only was he as good, but he was absolutely fabulous! He has the look, the moves and talk about that voice! Watching Jamie on stage was like watching Elvis himself. The comments from the audience that I overheard were totally in agreement with mine. Everyone was awed by his resemblance to Elvis and his voice. I understand that every night he plays to a full house. We were there on a Monday night and that was certainly the case. After his exhausting performance Jamie still took time to come out to meet the fans, take pictures, and sign autographs. Quite a few people said that they've seen the show more than once and I'm looking forward to seeing it again in the next couple of weeks. Words cannot describe just how truly awesome Jamie is! This is a show not to be missed. It has been extended at Harrah's to the end of September.

Collingwood Rocks With Elvis Fan Club presented the Jordanaires. The show also included ETA's Lance Dobinson, Tim E, and Dean Vegas. Even Silver Elvis was here. Although it wasn't a sell out, all of us enjoyed a marvelous show. All the performers were honored to have the Jordanaires as back up singers. It was a great night for all. All the entertainers stayed around after the show to talk and have pictures with us. Thanks Kathleen for bringing this show to Collingwood. With only short notice, I think it went extremely well. Here is a picture of my mother with the Jordanaires.

How can you pick one performance and say it was your favourite? I have been to every Elvis Fest in Collingwood, and I have to say that the talent this year was spectacular! I'm glad that I wasn't a judge. They had their work cut out for them.
Dave Stewart and Glenn Aitchison performed great all weekend. They worked hard to win their categories. In fact all the winners deserved to be where they were. I would like to see the organizers put in a people choice category. I think it would be fun to see who the public liked.
I have to say that my favourite performer every year has to be Shon Carroll! He gives every performance his all. Even when he is just hosting at a venue. He has all the right moves, looks, and most important the voice. He is a super guy in costume and when he out and about with his family.

David Muggeridge, Collingwood Elvis Festival, 2005
Last year our resort played host to Elvis. He was such a hit that this year
some of us went up to Collingwood to see him. We saw a lot of Elvis'. David  was the highlight of the weekend for us. His performance in Inspirational Elvis brought tears to our eyes as well as many around us. I've been to Vegas and Myrtle Beach as well as other shows in Canada and the US, where I have seen great Elvis', but I've never seen or heard any one come as close  to Elvis as David Muggeridge. You can just feel Elvis in the room. He looks and sounds just like him. David came in to entertain us the very next  weekend at our resort near Peterborough, Ontario (Bailey's Bay Resort/Beaver Resort). When he arrived and found out that our Sunday theme was Blue Hawaii, he changed his entire show to accommodate us. It was two nights of excitement we will not soon forget. Both his show had something for everyone...even the children had a great time. The 5 year old girl he sang  Are You Lonesome Tonight to was enthralled. I hope to catch his show again  soon. He is the best on and off the stage!

Shawn Klush, Pittston, Pa. Recent show.
Hello, My name is Debbie Lippy from Hagerstown,MD. This is the second yr. for me to give the write up on ladyluckmusic on Shawn Klush's show in Pittston,PA. I have now seen Shawn two yrs in a row now and I have to honestly say that this yr. he was 2,000% stronger than ever. He started his first of two shows in a white jumpsuit with silver studs all over. He really really looked great. Shawn sang songs from CC Rider to Teddy Bear to Blue Hawii and many more that were stronger than ever. He added a new song to his line up that he just nailed and it was "Bridge Over Trouble Water". Shawn sang this with true feeling and emotion. My daughter April who is 7 and my son David; who is 13 attended the show with my husband and I for the first time and they were just blown away by how Shawn resembles Elvis. April not only got her first scarf from Shawn but she also got not one but two teddy bears also. She enjoyed herself very very much and was singing right along with all the songs. David was just in awe the entire time. The second show was even out of this world. Shawn came out in the Cisco Kid jumpsuit.
He really makes this outfit. Songs in this set were; Viva Las Vegas, A Little Less Conversation, Trouble and more. The highlight of my evening was when he sang my favorite Elvis song to me and that song was "Just Pretend" I just cried because it meant so much to me to have Shawn sing this to me that I was just beside myself. The whole evening went off without a hitch and not a single drop of rain like last yr. All I can say to sum up Shawn' show is that Elvis is looking down and smiling ear to ear for what a very tasteful way Shawn is paying tribute to him and all of Shawn's talent is GOD GIVEN. Thank you Shawn for sharing your talent with us. Love and support always, Debbie L. & Family
Robin Kelly,  Moguls, Collingwood, ON
During the recent Collingwood Elvis Festival we were lucky enough to see Robin Kelly perform on the outdoor Mogul's stage. He performed a short set dressed in black pants and red jacket doing a combination of faster songs showing his moves and ballads showing his vocal power. He had the crowd dancing and applauding during the entire set and once again showed us why he has earned his reputation as a talented entertainer. The fans were still cheering for more as he left the venue to go to his next stop. It was a fabulous performance but way too short. It was great to see Robin Kelly perform again and hopefully he'll be back in Ontario soon. Cheryl George - Windsor, ON

Michael Hoover, Images of the King contest 2005.
This past week I attended the "Images of the King" contest in Memphis and met Michael and his wife Bobbie. The Hoovers just purchased the contest and now own it. Michael was the winner of the contest back in 1988 and still thrills crowds today with his wonderful gospel.
He unfortunately had an accident a week prior to the contest and was on crunches he has such a warm personality and treats everyone including the ETA's equal. you can find out more about Michael Hoover at his website www.michaelhoover.com

Robin Kelly,  Casey's Bar & Grill, Collingwood, ON
While at the Collingwood Elvis Festival Robin performed for an enthusiastic group of fans at the Casey's Bar & Grill. After being a festival headliner the past two years his fans were anxiously awaiting a full Robin Kelly show and he did not disappoint them. As with any other Robin Kelly show, he outdid himself with an amazing energetic and powerful show consisting of three sets plus an encore and as usual remained until all fans had an opportunity to visit, take photos or get an autograph after the show.
The show started with him dressed in the black pants and bright red jacket for his tribute to the 50s showing what he is known for - those amazing moves many can only dream of doing. After a short intermission Robin came back to the showroom in the blue Speedway outfit and performed a number of movie tunes keeping the fans applauding and wanting more.
The final set had Robin in his black leathers which seem to have the fans screaming once again but I guess when you have the combination of Robin in his leathers showing off his amazing vocal strength performing the songs of the late 60s and 70s you can't go wrong. Both on and off the stage Robin is the true definition of talent and character not to mention one of the best in the industry keeping Elvis' memory and music alive showing the public why he was and always will be the King . Watch for Robin to appear in Collingwood again next year and keep yourself updated as to his schedule at www.robinkelly.net. - Nora Cleaveley - Orillia, ON

Ryan Pelton, Ottawa Congress Centre, August 14th, 2005
Ryan Pelton two words you hear them once believe me you will not forget them. As always, gorgeous, personable, professional, a number one class act, just like a well oiled machine on that stage. The man has it all, to quote Elvis in GI Blue, “Zat is ooz”. Ryan is such a professional he performs his act as if it was second nature with no effort at all which puts him in a class all on his own. Be it the 50’s 60’s or 70’s none better than the other equally great and special in their own way, the 50’s special because all he has to do is move those shoulders with precision timing and the women go wild, the 60’s yes I dare say again that Black Leather performing all the favorites, the 70’s not since Elvis hit the stage does anyone look so good in any jumpsuit given him.
This particular evening it was the bead outfit, he has the seventies moves down sleek and seductive performing such greats as Polk Salad Annie which if you see him perform it will not be soon forgotten. As always my personal favorite Promised Land. What lady would not treasure a scarf or teddy bear from Ryan. A very special treat to have Ray Walker from the Jordinaires performing back up for Ryan especially on Peace in the Valley. Ray opened the show which was also a bonus for all Elvis fans in the audience, clearly his years in the business show in his powerful voice and his professionalism. I had the opportunity to talk to him personally and I treasure it very very much, he is one special man. Mike Morrissette closed the show performing Elvis’ later concert years, Mike has a very powerful voice singing greats that you don’t often hear such as Moody Blue and The Impossible Dream which the show was called as it was a benefit for CHEO our Ottawa Children’s Hospital, I believe it was a huge success. A special thanks to Moe Morrissette for all his hard work. I can’t say enough how pleased I was to have Ryan back in my hometown, to me he is just such a sweetheart personally and professionally. Luv you Ryan and I’ll see you again real soon. Lola Safiotti
STEVEN PELLERITI – Orillia Elvis Fest (Legion), Orillia, ON
Little Elvis, Steven Pelleriti recently performed at the Orillia Elvis Contest entertaining the fans during the intermissions on both Saturday and Sunday. Steven has the ability to grab the attention of the audience as soon as he steps up to the microphone and keeps it throughout his performance. He combines songs such as Need Your Love Tonight, Hound Dog and Lawdy with all the moves and other favourites like Just Pretend, Heart of Rome, It Hurts Me and If I Can Dream. After watching him perform it's easy to understand why the fans love him and why he's won so many youth titles at such a young age. Way to go Steven. Nora C - Orilila, ON

William Stiles, Memories Theatre, Pigeon Forge, TN. August 14th, 2005.
Will Stiles is the closest thing to Elvis that you will ever see. On August 14, 2005 he recreated the "Aloha from Hawaii "concert at the Memories Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN. Not only was his singing outstanding but he looked unbelievably handsome in his eagle jumpsuit.
Will's moves were right on the money, sending the ladies into orbit and up to the stage for a scarf and a kiss. When he introduced songs or spoke to the crowd, it's as if Elvis himself were talking to you. All of this coupled with the fact that none other than Charlie Hodge was onstage performing many songs with Will made each audience member feel as though it was 1973 and we were in Hawaii.
The show was about two hours with no intermission. Talk about getting your money's worth! Any time Will Stiles takes the stage, you know you're in for a treat. Make sure you get out to see him and then you will understand why fans go crazy for this extra special Elvis Tribute Artist!
