SHAWN KLUSH  Muckleshoot Casino, Washington.
It's been about 5 years since I first saw Shawn at the Muckleshoot Casino in Washington. Shawn was performing as an Elvis impersonator, impersonator indeed - I was in such awe of his absolutely incredible performance.  It was as though it was Elvis up there on the stage - unbelievable !! My friend Barb, who lived here at the time, and I, would go to see his shows and were more wowed than the time before by Shawn.  It was not even conceivable to miss a performance, and we were always disheartened when the shows were over, and they were off to another city somewhere to perform.  Shawn hasn’t been back to the Muckleshoot Casino in Washington, for well over a year, and we miss him. There were good times at Barb’s BBQs when Shawn was there. We had our yearly Patio Karaoke party a couple years ago, and Shawn came by after his Casino performance and sang many Elvis songs himself and with others, and our friends and family were mesmerized by not just his Elvis persona & voice, but his fun personality and congeniality to everyone as a really great guy. When he came into town, he would ask for a jar of my homemade salsa and I was only to happy to make a batch for him. To keep up with what Shawn is up to, I follow him on  various websites such as the Shawn Klush website and TerrisOnlineShawnKlush group at Yahoo, plus any news about Shawn through my friends.

Shawn is so charismatic, not only as Elvis, but his own personality as well, and even in street clothes you thought he was Elvis - the King. It’s like you feel he was put on this earth for just that purpose, for all of Elvis -The King’s fans to enjoy and revel in his grandeur & glory forever. Shawn always made you feel special and genuinely happy to see you. And like the energizer bunny, Shawn always seems to have time for everyone and is happy to chat with friends and fans alike. His CDs are fantastic and you really think it is Elvis you’re listening to. "Shawn’s" songs are so Elvis like, you actually feel the same feelings, and thoughts the way you did when Elvis was with us. As an Elvis Presley fan since his voice was first heard over the radio, I can say that Shawn’s talent is untouchable as Elvis, and once you’ve had the "Shawn Experience" you’re addicted to his music, charm and personality, in every way, shape, and form. Shawn should be playing the part of Elvis in the new Elvis mini series for CBS, in May. Shawn looks like Elvis, his mannerisms are like Elvis and oh baby, he sings just like Elvis. You really feel honored to be in Shawn’s presence and love him for being an Elvis that you hold such admiration and pride for. Shawn is such a compassionate guy, whether himself or Elvis, but to me, he is truly the "King" for all of us, who are dedicated Elvis/Shawn diehard fans. We are all indeed "blessed" to have

BILLY WAYDE  Grapeland, Texas.  April 2005
We certainly enjoyed Billy Wayde's performance in Grapeland, Texas.  My mom and boyfriend thought that Billy was the best impersonator they had ever seen. We are looking forward to his next exciting and energizing performance. We feel he should have played the role of Elvis in the latest Elvis movie. We love Billy Wayde and his whole family. ANTHONY VON. Burlington, Ontario.  May 2005
What a way to bring in Mother's Day! As the dishes were cleared, the anticipation of Forever Elvis starring Anthony Von, was felt throughout the room. As the lights dimmed and the narrator took to the stage, a hush fell over the crowd. Anthony took to the stage in traditional 50's Elvis style. He rocked the 50's with his unique style and rock-a-billy sound. As he shook his hips and curled his lips, he had the women in the audience eating out of the palm of his hand. When he re-emerged in the gold lame jacket, it set the tone for the 60's. Even though the 60's are stereotyped as a "movies era", he brought a real blues and swing feel to the music. During his rendition of " Love Me Tender". he mingled amongst the crowd, kissing the ladies, and leaving an Hawaiian lei around their necks. When it came to " Rock-a-Hula Baby," he had a surprise for the women in the audience. As he reminisced about his Hawaiian experiences, he asked the four ladies with the yellow Hawaiian leis, to join him up on stage as his back up dancers. As the 60's came to a close, he left the fans wanting more. Anthony exploded into the 70's to a thunderous applause from the audience. Everyone was dancing in their seas as he sang "Burning Love.” When everyone least expected it, he surprised the crowd by singing, "How Great Thou Art," which showcases the rich, powerfulness of his voice. In true Elvis style, Anthony handed out scarves to several members of the audience. After securing the admiration of both men and women alike, he changed the tempo of the music to a more modern sound for, "A Little Less Conversation."  After all is said and done, Anthony's sizzling performance as Elvis prompted the fire alarm to go off!  Sheryl Thorne & Tanya Pinagel Toronto

It was a pleasure to work with Tony Rocker and The Comeback Special again. Tony's sets were great!!  The man can move!!!  His energy and true love of  performing is tough to top!  He has been a good friend that I met early on in my ETA career. and I am so glad our paths crossed. I hope that we will have further opportunities to work together.
The Comeback Special did a superb job backing all the ETAs once again! ! !  All of the members of this band are dedicated and talent people....you don’t  get that good with out a love for the music and the drive to put your all into it.....I know that I speak for all the ETA's that we certainly appreciate their hard work. I should single out the two lovely ladies in the band, Cynda and Ashlie, Cynda is a top of the line keyboardist (is that the word I'm looking for?) and her and Ashlie's beautiful voices were pitch perfect or all the ETA's!!!

RONNY CRAIG,  TONY ROCKER, TREVOR DECKER, TRAVIS D, ANDY SEYMOUR Veterans Show Review, by CURT LECHNER.  Eau Clare, Wisconsin. May 2005.
Fred and Andy...great job! You both captivated the crowd and had flawless shows. It was great to see Fred and work with him again! Fred is a super great guy and a perfect example for other ETA's. Although I had never  worked with Andy before, I had met him last year. It was very nice to have the chance to work with him and get to know him a little better. I told him "send me a ticket to Aussie and I'll work there all week for free!!!" I'll be checking my mailbox daily! What can be said about Ronny Craig? A LOT!!!! A consummate professional entertainer and top of the line M.C. He knows how to get things Rockin and keep the party going!!! On a personal note...when I first began as an ETA, Ronnie was soooo GREAT!!! He gave of his time to give me encouragement, coaching, and a few YAAAA BABY'S!!! I certainly appreciate all of his  help. I'd also like to also say how nice it was to meet both Trevor and Travis. These two exceptional young men are truly an inspiration and a lot of fun
to be around. They are also very good ETA's. They did a awesome job on  their
songs and the crowd loved them!!!  Trevor also created and managed the Website for the show. And may I say, he did a splendid job!I  hope to see both of these gentlemen soon!!!

MATT CORDELL, Summerville, Georgia.  May 2005
Matt Cordell is a truly talented, good show star.  He put on a great show in Summerville.  I was so excited when I was at his show.  He is a really nice gentleman.  His road manager made sure I was happy and Matt autographed a CD for me and a picture of himself.  He was great.  I didn’t want to leave.  The fans were great too.  God bless you, Matt, wherever you are.  You are a truly nice gentleman.  Hope all you fans can catch one of Matt’s shows down the road.  God bless to all the Elvis impersonators!  Your loyal fan,  Patrick Battersby, Ringold, Georgia.
RAY ANTHONY, “A Really Big Shew,” Laughlin, Nevada.  April 2005
Welcome to Laughlin, Nevada, a vacationing Mecca in southern Nevada on the Colorado River across from Bullhead City, Arizona.  Laughlin is just 90 minutes south of Las Vegas, Nevada.  It is the home of numerous hotels and casinos on the scenic Colorado River.   The area offers various river tours and has a beautiful “River Walk” connecting the casinos and sites.  Well, what brought me to Laughlin but Ray Anthony performing as Ritchie Valens at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.  Ray was part of the Ed Sullivan Review of “A Really Big Shew” with Jerry Hoban as Ed Sullivan.  The show was a take-off of the classic “Ed Sullivan TV program” with a review of a variety of performances.  Jerry Hoban, appearing as Ed Sullivan in the movie “Pulp Fiction” left you wondering if he was the real Sullivan reincarnated.  His mannerisms, voice, and looks were that of the Ed Sullivan I remembered. Jeff Dahart was the opening act who performed comic impressions.  He gave impressions of James Cagney, George Burns, Jerry Lewis, Bullwinkle, and many more.  One of his best impressions was Johnny Carson.  His comedy had young and old laughing. Hillel Gitter was a magic act with comedy that left the audience in awe with his balloon acts.

Now, let’s talk about the showstopper, Ray Anthony, who captured the whole audience with his talent as a musician and vocalist.  Ray engrosses all in his Rock n’ Roll.  Ray sang several songs recorded by Ritchie Valens, including “Donna” and “La Bamba.”  Ray even crooned an Elvis Presley hit of “Blue Hawaii.” Ray completed his performance at the Flamingo on April 17, but he plans to return again spring of 2006 to perform again in the “Really Big Shew.”  His charisma, energy, and vocals capture all who listen to him.  You don’t have to be from the 50’s generation to enjoy his show stopping performance that gets everyone on their feet singing and dancing.  Ray Anthony is a class act entertainer.

ALEX SWINDLE   All Shook Up in Branson, Branson, MO, May 2005.
On May 27th, my daughter, my sister, and I attended the "All Shook Up" Elvis Tribute Artists Show in Branson at the Settle Inn.  The performances were wonderful and we enjoyed it very much.  They told us about karaoke for later that night so we decided that we would go listen.  I had noticed this 11 year old watching the ETA show and immediately knew that he MUST be one of the junior performers.  We were told that the younger performers would be performing on Saturday. Unfortunately, I had to miss it because I was actually in town for my great-nephew's wedding.  I was really disappointed that I would not be able to see Alex perform.  Much to my surprise and DELIGHT, he sang at karaoke and I just fell in love with this young man.  He is an excellent performer and really takes it seriously.  Congratulations, Alex, keep up the wonderful work! The next day when my granddaughters arrived for the wedding, Alex was the main topic of the day!
I asked Hannah and Madison if they would like to go see the karaoke that night, in hopes that Alex would be there again. They were both very excited so that night there were 7 of us from my family there to watch.  They were really impressed with Alex's performance. Not only is he an excellent performer, but he is such a little gentleman as well.  I asked him if he would mind if I took his picture with my granddaughters and of course he agreed!!  He is the most polite 11 year that I have ever met.  We loved the tribute to Elvis and I enjoyed all of the performers, but I can tell you that Alex was my very favorite one of all.  My granddaughters definitely agree!!  I plan to go back in October for the next one!   Lynda N, Jefferson City,

ETA’S, Stouffville Elvii Fest, Stouffville, Ontario.  June 2005
June 4th was Elvis Fest in Stouffville, what a great time we all had! They had a great bunch of ETAs enter the competition, all very friendly, we were able to get as many pictures as we wanted to and they all where so friendly and willing to chat with everyone – a real family atmosphere. I am certain this festival will grow.  It is only its fourth year and Ruth Le Blanc did a fantastic job of putting it together. All the ETAs did a great job, I am looking forward to going again next year! Jesse Aron won first, Marcus Well second and Rick Duin third. Pauline King, Markham, Ontario.

BRUCE HERRON, Plainsman Restaurant, Dundas, Ontario.  June 2005
I had the pleasure of experiencing a second live performance of Bruce Herron’s Memories of Elvis.  Bruce is an extraordinary entertainer and gives 110% to his audience.  As an Elvis Tribute Artist, Bruce is building the foundation to the development of an entirely new generation of Elvis fans. The voice, mannerisms, the sexy Elvis dance moves, the costumes, the magnetic personality and with his own legion of faithful fans, Bruce gave a performance second to none.  Being new to the ETA culture, I am fascinated by the Bruce/Elvis adoring fan relationship. Such as Elvis himself, Bruce appears to have a powerful and positive impact on the lives he touches. This gift is not something copied, however, possessed by both entertainers. I would highly recommend Bruce’s show.  Dinner at the Plainsmen was absolutely fabulous!!! Crystal Scott, Guelph, Ontario

WILL GANZON   Philippines Independance Day.  Mississauga, Ontario.  June 2005
On June 12th, 2005 Mississauga, Ontario had one of it's hottest days in  years, but that did not stop one of our ETA's, (Will Ganzon) from  struting his stuff at the Cultural Event in Mississauga. The event was held for the one hundred and seventh annual celebration of the Philippines Independance day.  The event drew in crowds of people from all over Ontario. The crowd was  entertained by popular dance groups and solo performers such as teen  idols and rap groups. All of the entertainers impressed the crowd, but  the high light of the event was the performance put on by Will Ganzon and the popular Hawaiian Dancers.  Elvis fans from all over Ontario watched in amazement as Will emulated his idol by putting on a performance of Elvis in Hawaii. Will started off by shaking up the fans with the well known hawaiian song Rock-A-Hula Baby, while being backed up by two beautiful Hawaiian dancers. The event was a day in Mississauga Ontario that many Elvis fans will remember for years to come!  To keep up with Will’s events calendar you can visit his website.   http://will-tcb.com      Cecil LaPointe, Hamilton

BRUCE HERRON. Plainsman Restaurant.  Dundas, Ontario.  June 2005
My husband and I are two of Bruce's greatest fans; his show is awesome to say the least. We have been to numerous shows and I must say, Bruce does connect extremely well with his audience. You are captivated immediately by Bruce's personality, dance moves and sexy good looks.
While watching him perform, you are taken back in time and it's wonderful. I always wanted to see Elvis but unfortunately never had the chance. Bruce truly enjoys performing for his audience, and it shows. I would highly recommend you to take in one of Bruce's shows, you won't
be disappointed.
