BRYAN MUSE, Recent Alabama show.

Hello, my wife recently discovered your website. We had the pleasure to see and hear a wonderful tribute artist recently named Bryan Muse. He was playing at a rock-n-roll festival in northwest Alabama. The show was fabulous from beginning to end. Bryan’s show band that we heard that night was one of the closest to the TCB Band I have ever heard -- especially the guitarist and drummer. Wow!!! I am a huge fan of the King as well as many ETA's and let me tell you this guy is the real deal!!! If you have not heard of him, you will. Great look, great voice, great band!!! Top notch show. We are retired and travel a bunch. We plan our vacations around Elvis events and ETA performances. This event was the highlight of our holiday last year!!! If you ever have a chance to catch the show, by all means take advantage of it. Thank you and all the ETA’s for keeping the music alive. Take care, Billy Smith.

JESSE ARON. Texas Concerts. November 2004

I recently went to back to back concerts to see Jesse Aron. He really does a terrific job. The first concert was Friday, Nov. 26 in Kingwood, Tx and the 2nd was in Huntsville, Tx on Sat, Nov. 27. Jesse Aron and Kristy Casey did a great duet as Elvis and Ann Margaret. If you have not seen Jesse Aron perform, you are missing out on a lot. He does a great job on the movie songs and he has a terrific ending song, which is a tribute to the King (Elvis Presley). Dianne Palmer, Texas

BILL KELLY & QUENTIN FLAGG. Midway, Kentucky. November 2004.

A near capacity crowd was on hand Friday, November 26, 2004 to witness the Dynamic Duo of Bill Kelly & Quentin Flagg rock the Backroads American Music Theater in Midway, KY. Quentin opened the show with his 50's & 60's Tribute to The King. With his lightning fast moves and great voice, he had the audience in the palm of his hand the entire set and left them wanting more! Then after a few Elvis songs by Joe Clark, Quentin and Bill took the stage with their tribute to "The Blues Brothers"...and what a performance that was! The crowd absolutely went into a frenzy!

Next, the very talented Bill Kelly hit the stage with his Elvis Tribute, singing various songs from the 70's era. . He always gives it 110% when he is on stage....and the crowd loved every minute of it! Bill & Quentin closed the show together performing such songs as "Suspicious Minds," and "Viva Las Vegas," just to name a few! It was one of the best shows I had seen in quite some time! It was fantastic. If you get the opportunity to see Bill and Quentin..by all means do so....you won't be disappointed! Joe Clark, Morehead, KY (photo credit Bob De Mattina)

STEVE ELLIOTT, British Columbia, December 2004
On December 3rd, 2004 I saw “The Gospel Side of Elvis” featuring the Grand Champion of the Pacific North West Elvis Festival in Penticton, B.C. 2004, Steve Elliott. It was a sensational evening for Steve and a full house for this home town favorite Elvis Tribute Artist! Appearing along with Steve was Patsy Bartholomew as Patsy Cline. With Steve’s sharp looks and quick sense of humor, the crowd LOVED every minute! Dressed in a smart, sleek black suit, he sang all time favorites such as “Take My Hand Precious Lord.” For the second half of the show, Steve wore a dreamy white suit, and the crowd “wowed” and cheered when he sang “Swing Down Sweet Chariot””and “Joshua Fit the Battle”. To end this fantastic evening, Steve sang a powerful “My Way” and “Dreaming of a White Christmas.” Thanks, Steve, for a terrific show!

WILL THOMPSON, TIM E & SHON CARROLL, Peterborough, Ontario. November 2004

What a great evening had by all in Peterborough for the "Christmas Memphis Style" at the Showplace Performance Centre, a fundraiser for Breast Cancer hosted by Will Thompson. The performers for the evening were Shon Carroll, Tim E and Will Thompson. Shon Carroll came out playing 50 & 60's Elvis and "Lord" the man can really move! He was so full of energy it was extremely hard to stay in our seats. I guess that’s why they call him the "Canadian Flash." Then Tim E came out in his '68 Comeback leather suit (we just love that leather ladies), and as always put on an incredible show. What else can you say about Tim E! He has sooo much style and charisma. The ladies just adore him, he's definitely a crowd pleaser. And, finally Will Thompson in his 70's jumpsuit performed a variety of favorites along with Christmas tunes. He also delivered an amazing performance. The ETA's sang two sets each and changed outfits throughout the night

. The show lasted 4 hours, not bad for $23, and Tim closed up the evening with his finale of Vegas tunes that was absolutly fantastic. After the show they went into the lobby for pictures and chatted with fans for a while. It was a fun filled evening and we'd like to thank Will Thompson for hosting such a great event. Visit Tim E & the Yes Men website for upcoming shows at www.tim-e-show.com and be sure to catch the 2nd annual Kingfest Competition May 14 &15 also hosted by Will Thomson. MAX PELLICANO. Windsor, Ontario. December 2004

I saw Max perform at the Windsor Casino. What a show! I give it an A++. I think he is one of the greatest Elvis impersonators I have seen. Max will be going to perform in Australia for New Years. We sure will miss him. Hope you like the picture I sent. #1 Elvis to the Max Fan. Judy Mallia. Michigan, USA

RYAN PELTON, Legends in Concert Holiday Show, Myrtle Beach, December 2004

As you drive towards the Legends Theatre in Myrtle Beach there are billboards along the highway featuring Ryan Pelton’s picture and the caption “making spirits bright.” What better way to do that than to have Ryan Pelton sing Elvis classic Christmas songs as only Elvis could. Ryan performed a standard Elvis set to perfection as usual with teddy bears and scarves for the ladies. For the holiday special he returned in an Elvis ‘60's style suit with purple shirt and matching tie to sing ‘‘Why Can’t Every Day Be Like Christmas,” a perfectly harmonized “Little Drummer Boy” with Garth Brooks and a very powerful “How Great Thou Art.” Ryan returned looking particularly handsome in Elvis’ ’68 Special white suit. He sang “If I Can Dream” amazingly. As you watched the split screen with Elvis himself and Ryan as he was singing, it showed how talented Ryan is and how his performance is perfected to a T. A duet of “Let it Snow” with Reba followed and a solo of “Silent Night.” For the finale Ryan led the entire cast in a beautifully harmonized “Silver and Gold.” The Legends production staff is to be commended on having the perfect mix of regular tribute performances mixed with their Christmas show. Their Christmas show is a definite must-see. Ryan Pelton is a definite must see any time of the year. He is without question the best at what he does. No-one else comes close. Ryan is the essence of what Elvis was all about, the perfect combination of talent, charming charisma, good looks and personality. I’m sure Elvis is looking down smiling, especially at this special time of year. Ryan you know we love you. Lola Saffioti, Ottawa Ontario

ROBIN KELLY, Edmonton, Alberta, December 2004
I recently had the opportunity to attend three Robin Kelly shows at Casino Yellowhead in his hometown, Edmonton. During these shows Robin shared his stage with Thomas Alexander, formerly of The Platters, who has a fabulous voice and is a great entertainer, as well as special guest Darren Lee bringing a second powerful Elvis voice to the stage. Each show was performed to a full house with many fans standing outside the show room so they could catch a glimpse or at least hear the talent on stage. Thomas and Darren did a superb job and as usual Robin did an amazing job with his outstanding tribute to the King. Robin's first set (of each show) showed off his energetic moves while dressed in pink, red and white jackets during his tribute to the 50s. He came back with his powerful vocals during the 60s set sporting the leathers and also the famous Speedway outfit. And in the Christmas spirit he added Blue Christmas and Santa Claus Is Back In Town to the shows. I've never been disappointed with a Robin Kelly show and I can say the many other fans were definitely left wanting more. The next time Robin Kelly's "One Night With You" show is at a venue near you - go, you will not be disappointed. And if you are ever lucky enough to see Robin Kelly and Darren Lee perform together take advantage of the opportunity. I've never seen two entertainers with as much vocal power and talent together on one stage. A good time was had by all and was definitely worth the trip. Nora Cleaveley - Orillia, Ontario

BRIAN "ELVIS" SIMPSON and guests. Christmas shows, Vancouver, BC. December 2004
The Christmas season wouldn't be complete without some Elvis Christmas and gospel tunes. The King was magnificent singing those songs when he was with us, and Brian "Elvis" Simpson's recent Christmas shows certainly offered a great reminder of those days. Simpson's powerful, soaring vocals did justice to those many different songs and the audience walked away with a smile. His special guests included the talented Adam Elvis, the GI Elvis tribute artists who also sang a few Christmas tunes, and the king of party rock, Heavy Eric. Known as the Vancouver Canuck hockey Elvis, Heavy Eric knows how to bring a cheerful twist to any show. Simpson will be busy in the new year.

DOUG CHURCH, Sanderson Centre, Brantford, Ontario. January 2005.

The show on January 8 at the Sanderson Centre in Brantford featured the best performance of any “Elvis” that I have seen. I have seen Pete Paquette and, of course, Gino Monopoli, before, but had not seen Doug Church before. I rate Doug a “10" all the way. He had no flaws anywhere. He had such charisma and his songs just flowed. That’s what I call an Elvis Tribute Artist. He’s on the top of my list. And to top it all, Memphis Motion did a wonderful job as backup. Great job. Bill & Liz Mahoney, Waterford, Ontario.

PETE PAQUETTE, GINO MONOPOLI, DOUG CHURCH. Sanderson Centre Birthday Show, Brantford, Ontario. January 2005.Wow, What A Show. I was not too familiar with Pete Paquette but was surprised how good he is - and only 19 yrs old. Gino Monopoli ,as always, was great to see, performing the 68 Comeback. Doug Church is the most talented performer I have ever seen. When he performs Elvis songs, you could swear it is Elvis singing. I don't believe anyone could be better. ROBIN KELLY, DARREN LEE Casino Alberta, December 2004
I recently travelled to Edmonton to catch 2 shows put on by the amazing Robin Kelly with a special guest appearance by Darren Lee. Robin Kelly, “The Collingwood Grand Champion” put on an amazing tribute with 2 nights of different shows. Both nights included the 50’s era, wearing a different jacket and performing his non-stop hip swiveling, back bending moves to all the hits. After the 50’s set he did the movie/60’s era, wearing the Speedway jacket one night and then every woman’s fantasy outfit, the ‘68 Comeback leather. What a voice and those moves…unless you were there you wouldn’t believe me but I’m sure his chiropractor does! Robin rocked the packed house!! He has all the sexy moves, authentic outfits, and looks down pat but most importantly he has the voice that sets him apart from all the rest. His charismatic personality just shines right through in all his polished performances making him a must see ETA. His special guest, Darren Lee, performed like the true Las Vegas superstar that he is.

After winning the Memphis title he is now performing at The Stratosphere Hotel where every night he puts on an amazing show and back home in Canada he did not disappoint!! Darren’s performance consisted of some of the best late 60’s and early 70’s Elvis hits dressed in a sleek sexy black suit. After they finished performing on their own, the sold out standing room only crowd were about to witness the first time ever““together” on the same stage performance by these two brothers and they did not disappoint the fans, some of whom came from Ontario, Saskatchewan and BC just to see them. Both of these ETA’s are undisputedly talented individuals in their own right and when they performed the last set “together” on stage taking turns singing a song there wasn’t a hand in the room that wasn’t sore from all the clapping. The fans went wild cheering and wanting more and the encores just kept coming for these two! If you go to Vegas you should go see Darren Lee and if you see a Robin Kelly show in your hometown you should go because he will not disappoint. Thank you Robin Kelly and Darren Lee for your amazing and respectful tribute to the King of rock n' roll; one that I was truly honored to have been a part of. The memory of Elvis is alive and well thanks to your shows which are undoubtedly tops on my list. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see you again! Elisa Jukich, Vancouver BC

JOHN PRESTON AND GUESTS, ELVIS BIRTHDAY PARTY, “Play It Again Sams,” Hamilton, Ontario January 2004

I want to comment on the Elvis Birthday Party at Play It Again Sams. John Preston was the featured performer, who sang many Elvis songs from the 50's, 60's and ‘70's. Joan Hynes who sang Happy Birthday has a marvelous voice. I would love to hear her sing again. The little kids that performed (Brennan and Brycen Katalinsky) were cute. Bruce Herron was excellent.

cake.jpg

I enjoyed him very much. He circulated through the audience, had nice costume changes, and he put his all into it. I would pay to see him again. Mike Fortune from Cable 14 was very good as MC .The Kiwanis people set up the room nicely with balloons, etc. The cake was delicious and was a nice touch. The fellow who did Wayne Newton and the Phantom also tried his best. I had an enjoyable evening. Lillian Hinckley, Hamilton, Ontario.

JOHN PRESTON AND GUESTS, Play It Again Sams, Elvis Birthday Party, Hamilton, Ontario, January 2005

The place was decorated with purple and silver helium balloons galore and backed up with a beautifully decorated cake with Elvis' picture, guitar, and some words to his music. This also was done in purple and silver colours, and was delicious--feeding a full house of close to 200 people, while everyone sang Happy Birthday to Elvis led by Marilyn Monroe tribute artist, Joan Hynes. The program started with our MC-- Mike Fortune, a well known T.V. personality from Cable l4, introducing a speaker from the Kiwanis Club and doing an excellent job of introducing our guest performers. John Preston, headlining the show, started off doing his ‘50's era of Elvis' songs. Later, John donned his black leather and followed up with his white jumpsuit to sing more of the King's songs. John has a beautiful voice and entertained us all to the best of his ability, thrilling many in the audience. Bruce Herron did a fantastic job of mingling and entertaining everyone taking his turn at the ‘50's and getting into the G.I. Blues segment with his army uniform on. Bruce followed up with Speedway songs. Later Bruce put on his blue jumpsuit and gave the audience a greater appreciation of his talent by getting on the table so people could see him better. Richard Huchison also gave Elvis birthday greetings by performing songs of Meatloaf, Phantom of the Opera, and Wayne Newton. Richard did a great job and later joined in the finale singing Elvis' songs. ETA’s Brycen and Brennon Katlinsky, age 6 and 10, delighted the audience with their rendition of Elvis' songs. These boys are going to give the ETA’s a challenge in upcoming contests.

Joan Hynes with a great, powerful voice sang some Marilyn Monroe songs and can she belt out a number. Throughout the night we were entertained by a hula hoop contest which even the MC, John and Bruce joined in on. It was hard to judge and gets better each time it's done at a show. With all the draws and door prize and good service from the restaurant staff and a lot of people getting up and dancing at intermission and everyone joining in for the finale of Elvis Songs from our performers and the singing of Happy Birthday Elvis, the show went on very smoothly and lasted till after 12. a.m. There were donation buckets around the room if anyone wanted to donate to the Kiwanis for a very worthy cause, but no-one was pressured and it was really a free fun night. This was a great evening. Dolores Peachey, Ontario

PETE PAQUETTE, GINO MONOPOLI, DOUG CHURCH. Sanderson Centre Birthday Show, Brantford, Ontario. January 2005

It was with great pleasure to have taken the drive to Brantford, Ontario from Montreal to see the most talented performers at the Sanderson Centre. Pete Paquette is wonderful as a young performer, Gino Monopoli was great also and sooo very funny; But Doug Church is, so far, the best performer we've seen. He had such great talent that when you close your eyes and hear him sing you believe that it is really Elvis Presley singing. Hope to see more of these guys perform soon. Memphis Motion Wow!!! What great back-ups and let’s not forget The Band "Rudy Salerno and the Angels." All this combination made such a great evening that it was over much too fast. Tony & Anna Stocola, Montreal, QC
